Training Walks–OLD, not in menu

Training Walks

The first Thursday each month we’ll be walking as a group. With several trainers in attendance, you’ll be using the training skills you learned in basic obedience class.

The walks start at 7:00 pm. We plan the walks to generally last an hour and go for about a mile (rarely longer as we’ll also be working on training and training skills.) However, if you need to cut it short or leave; that’s okay.

These will be small group walks. To reserve a spot email

Since we’ll be working in public there are several rules:

  • have some pick up bags in your pocket as you must pick up after your dog.
  • Carry water.
  • Your dog must have graduated from a Kindred Spirits Basic Obedience Class; this is open only to our students.
  • This is not open to dogs who are aggressive towards people or other dogs.

Walk locations may change so check “Upcoming Walks:” section below for meeting place. Liz has a metallic blue Ford F150 with a matching shell. It’s pretty bright so look for her truck.

Professional dog training classes, we keep training positive, upbeat, and fun. We're a school for people and dogs.

From puppy to beyond the basics, we're here to help! The canine good citizen class includes practice and the test.

What’s your favorite place to walk your dog? Anything in particular you’d like to practice? We want to hear about it! We’re always looking for new challenges.

Obedience classes can be fun! Walking nicely on leash, stay, leave it, and more, whatever behavior you want to teach, we can help.
