We do not hold classes on the major holidays. This summer there will be no classes on July 3rd or 5th, or Sept 4th or 6th.

Beyond Basic Obedience Classes

Continuing Skills Drop-In Class: This class continues the skills taught in the basic obedience class plus adds a few new commands. Sorry, this class is open ONLY to Kindred Spirits class graduates and Love on a Leash therapy dogs. This is a drop in class; no reservations needed.

Thurs 7:00 pm No class on major holidays or in the rain. $5 per session, pay as you attend.

Intermediate/Advanced Training: This training is open to KS basic class graduates ONLY and includes a variety of skills, from working on attention and focus, to off leash skills, emergency drop, and much more.

Sat 8:30 am 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month. This is a drop in class; $5 per session.

Scent and Nose Play and Training: Your dog knows how to use his nose; it’s one of his most important senses. So let’s have fun with it! Open to KS basic class graduates ONLY.

Sat 8:30 am 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month This is a drop in class; $5 per session

Canine Good Citizen Class: This class is the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen program and is open for all dogs, purebred and mixed breeds. Dogs must already have good basic obedience skills. For more information go to the AKC’s website. All dogs must already have good basic obedience skills. 1 hour per week for 5 weeks for $50.

Therapy Dog Classes: This class helps prepare dogs and their owners for therapy dog certification. Dogs are introduced to visit skills and owners are taught how to handle their dogs during visits. Dogs MUST have completed a basic obedience class prior to beginning this class. No aggression to dogs or people is allowed. One hour per week for five weeks, $60.
