Intermediate Dog Obedience Classes: Beyond the Basics

Continuing Skills Drop-In Class:

This class continues the skills taught in the basic obedience class plus adds a few new commands. Sorry, this class is open ONLY to Kindred Spirits class graduates and Love on a Leash therapy dogs. This is a drop in class; no reservations needed.

Thurs 6:30 pm $5 per session, pay as you attend. No class on major holidays or in the rain.

Canine Good Citizen Class:

This class is the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen program and is open for all dogs, purebred and mixed breeds. Dogs must already have good basic obedience skills. For more information go to the AKC’s website. All dogs must already have good basic obedience skills. Graduates receive a diploma and collar tag indentifying them as a CGC graduate. 1 hour per week for 5 weeks for $60.

Conformation Dog Show Practice:

These practice sessions are for those participating in competitive conformation dog shows. A Kindred Spirits’ trainer will act as a judge and potential exhibitors can stack their dog for examination and move around the ring. This is not a handling class but instead just an opportunity for handlers to practice in a different location. Drop in sessions $5 each, pay as you attend. Thurs 5 to 6 pm

Kindred Spirits Dog Training does not hold classes on the major holiday weekends or when it rains.
