The trainers at Kindred Spirits Dog Training love dogs and because we love dogs, we want to help you and your dog. No matter whether you have a baby puppy that you want to get started right, an adolescent who is challenging you, a newly adopted dog with some issues, or a dog with behaviors that you’d like to change; we’re here to help.
At Kindred Spirits we teach puppy classes (which includes the American Kennel Club’s Puppy STAR program), basic obedience classes, and intermediate obedience. We also teach the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen class as well as a variety of fun classes that include trick training, K9 Nosework®, carting, and fun games.
Kindred Spirits also offers private, one on one training, either at our training yard or at your home. Behavioral consultations are also available at the training yard.
Kindred Spirits also teaches therapy dog skills for dogs and owners, and works with the therapy dog group, Love on a Leash (www.loveonaleash.org).
We also have a nonprofit branch, Kindred Spirits Canine Education Center, where we work with dog owners who have need of a service dog. We will screen your dog for suitability for service dog work and then will help you train your dog.
